From Owasso Public Schools:
The combined efforts of Owasso Public Schools Plant Operations and Sodexo came together at Owasso High School in January in the form of a Food Truck. The Food Truck concept has been a popular, growing trend with young adults across the country. In order to increase participation, Sodexo wanted to incorporate that concept in the North Commons and differentiate the area from the collegiate style South Main cafeteria. The Food Truck menu ranges from Street Tacos, Flatz and Rice Bowls, just to name a few. General Manager of Child Nutrition Susan Sherwood says, “The purpose of the food truck was to bring a trendy new concept to the High School for students to enjoy.” Child Nutrition would like to thank those involved in making this vision possible.
