Harold Glover was born July 1, 1928, at Boswell, Oklahoma, to Carl Herman and Pearl Lula Wilson. He died Friday, September 30, 2016, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years. Harold was reared and educated in Boswell and was a graduate of Boswell High School. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Navy during World War II. He was married January 17, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Margie Spellins. They had made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, since 1986. Harold spent most of his working life as a welder and was a member of the United Association Local 420 Plumbers and Pipefitters. He was a longtime faithful member of the 10th and Rockford Church of Christ. He enjoyed reading and studying the Bible as well as religious discussions. Harold earned his pilot license and loved to fly planes. He especially enjoyed going to the lake, water skiing, and spending time with his family; but his predominant hobby after retirement was gardening. He worked a garden to keep himself strong and often brought the bounty of his garden to his neighbors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Pete Glover and Stanley Glover, and a sister, Martha Ann Adkins.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2016, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with John Malloy officiating and military honors provided by the United States Navy. Committal service and interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park in rural Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
