Harry Franklin Phillips was born September 28, 1927, in Choska, Oklahoma, to Earl and Joanna Alice Wood Phillips. He died Tuesday, June 5, 2018, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 90 years. Harry was reared and educated in Haskell, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Haskell High School. He was a veteran of the armed forces and served his country honorably with the United States Air Force. Harry was married to the love of his life Marie on January 21, 1948, in Stonebluff, Oklahoma. He spent most of his working life with Rockwell International in Tulsa retiring as a manager. He was a longtime faithful and charter member of Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including going fishing. He had coached softball, but enjoyed watching all kinds of sporting events.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry Phillips; two sisters, Flossella Phillips and Marion Baker; and one brother, Samuel Phillips.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2018, at Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Russell Kirkpatrick officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at the Haskell City Cemetery in Haskell, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Calvary Boys Ranch, P.O.
