Helen Louise Hancock was born September 13, 1924, in Picher, Oklahoma to James Corbet Burnett and Mayme Elizabeth (Ross) Holcomb. She passed from this life on Friday, October 18, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 95 years. Helen was raised and educated in Picher and graduated with the Picher High School Class of 1942. She was married on May 1, 1947 in Columbus, Kansas to Kenneth Eugene Hancock. Helen spent most of her working life in the home raising her four children and later as a Telephone Operator with Southwestern Bell and AT&T. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as keeping up with the current events and watching the weather, but most of all she loved spending her time with family

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mayme, husband, Kenneth, son, Robert, and grandson, Charles.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Rejoice Church in Owasso with Pastor Casey Cariker officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be 2:00 p.m. at GAR Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
