Ida Doris Willsey was born April 10, 1935, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, to Watton Starr Wilson and Eunice Florence Bluejacket Wilson. She died Saturday, December 28, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years. Ida was married January 19, 1952, in Bentonville, Arkansas, to Samuel Taylor Willsey. She spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including gardening, crocheting, sewing, bowling, and spending time with her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sam Willsey, newborn daughter, Susan Elaine Willsey, son, Samuel Gene Willsey, daughter-in-law, Sue Willsey, four brothers, Adam Wilson, Jim Wilson, Buck Wilson, Bill Wilson, and Nelson Wilson, and two sisters, Emma Bigham, and Lou Stephens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020, at Life.Church Owasso with Pastor Greg Aery officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Jamie Bauer, Scott Dose, Biff Jones, Billy Pogue, Grady Burk, Kelton Ramsey, and Colton Fowler. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to The Mission-FBC Owasso, 11341 North Garnett Road, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
