Jack Warren Achterhof was born August 16, 1932, in Muskegon, Michigan, to John and Tena Walhout Achterhof. He passed from this life Monday, May 7, 2018, in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years. Jack served his country honorably in the United States Army. He married Eleanor M. Fitzpatrick in Houston, Texas on November 24, 1981. Jack spent most of his working life as a computer programmer for Continental and Dresser. Jack had a variety of pastimes such as golfing, fishing, pitching in baseball when he was younger, and playing bingo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Tina, wife, Ellie, brother, Bill, sister, Ruth, and son, Ken.
Memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2018, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Kevin Laufer officiating.
