James Micheal “Mike” Jones was born September 22, 1962, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to James Franklin Jones and Phyllis Jane (Spears) Schraad. He passed from this life Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 55 years. Mike was raised and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1980. He married his best friend Trena Kay (McCoy) Jones in Wagoner, Oklahoma on September 3, 1988. Mike spent most of his working life as a Shift Supervisor with AEP/PSO. He retired mid-April with almost 37 years of service. Mike had a variety of pastimes such as working on his ranch, driving tractors and riding mules, going camping, driving his new Teryx side-by-side, and most of all spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Mowery Funeral Service. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2018, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Reverend Leonard Pirtle officiating.
