Janey Kathleen Day was born December 30, 1960, in Baxter Springs, Kansas, to Joe Carl and Clara Jane Perry. She died Sunday, October 11, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 59. Janey completed her secondary education in Collinsville, Oklahoma, where she attended Collinsville Public Schools. She continued her education as an adult attending Tulsa Community College where she earned her nursing degree and became a registered nurse. She also spent much time as a homemaker and caring for her family. Janey enjoyed a variety of pastimes including “working her yards”, crafting, and finding bargains at garage sales. She always looked forward to Trivia Night with her friends and family. She also enjoyed fishing any chance she could. Janey was particularly fond of her role of “Grandma Janey”.

Salena Williams and husband Mark Fiber, of Mason City, Iowa
Suzanne SoRelle, of Memphis, Tennessee
Along with a host of other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ellen Jones.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Rick Brinkley officiating. Final resting place will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
