Jimmy Neil Scivally was born August 28, 1951, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Eugene Dwight Scivally and Edith Arlie Brewer Scivally. He died Saturday, July 6, 2024, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years. Jim was raised and educated in Owasso and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1969. It was during high school, at the age of 15, that Jim worked at Wells Food Market, that would begin his career in the grocery and food service industry. He was married June 5, 1970, at Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso, to Frances Mitchell. Jim continued his studies attending the University of Tulsa. Jim spent most of his professional career as Vice-president of Operations with Hale-Halsell in Tulsa. He was a strong man of faith and a longtime member of Bethel Baptist Church. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including spending time out on the golf course with his friends as well as time spent reading. Most important was spending time with his family.

Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
His loving wife of over 54 years; Frances
Children; Monica Kendall and husband Chris
Brian Scivally and wife Karen
Grandchildren; Saxton Day and Nicholas Day
And a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Edith Scivally, brothers, Joe Scivally and Jerry Scivally, and parents-in-law, Leroy and Donna Mitchell.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jarrod Kendall officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
