Joe N. Knepper was born May 3, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and chosen by August Nicholas and Wilma (Appelbaum) Knepper. He passed from this life Saturday, March 3, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years. Joe was raised and educated in Oologah, Oklahoma and graduated with the Oologah High School Class of 1963. He was married January 24, 1969, at Oologah Asembly of God Church to Gwen Ann (Rhoads) Knepper. Joe spent most of his working life as a machinest with Woods Energy in Owasso, Oklahoma. He was a faithful member of Oologah Assembly of God Church for over 50 years. Joe enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as gardening, yard work, woodworking and welding.

Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Oologah Assembly of God Church with Pastor Kent Jensen officiating. Inurnment will be held at Wann Cemetery in Oologah. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Joe’s memory to Oologah Assembly of God Church, 13462 South US Highway 169, Oologah, Oklahoma 74053.
