On October 28th, 2015, Meka Oakley and Johnnie Perry Jr. welcomed a precious baby boy into the world. This bundle of joy was named Johnnie Perry III better known as Little Jay. Even though Little Jay faced life’s obstacles at birth, he was a very happy baby that loved to smile. Little Jay made it through open heart surgery and several other obstacles. He fought a good fight and finished his course. Johnnie Perry III traded his cross for a crown on February 13, 2016 were he joined his paternal grandmother, Lovetta Perry.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his father and mother, his siblings; Alexis Holmes and Jayden Perry, maternal grandparents; Anita K Goff and Merin Oakley Sr., paternal grandparents; Johnnie Perry Sr., a uncle; Mario Oakley, aunts; Patricia Johnson, Gwendolyn Newton (James) and Nicole Perry. A host of other relatives and many friends also survive him.
