JoLynn HamptonJoLynn Hampton was born December 12, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to John Henry “Pete” Hall and Floy Roberta Anderson Hall. She died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family Monday, October 18, 2021, in Owasso, Oklahoma. JoLynn was reared and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1973. She started working while in high school working another nine years before becoming an amazing stay-at-home mom taking care of her children. She then returned to the workplace 28 years ago working as a patient service representative with Utica Park Clinic in Owasso. JoLynn was a strong Christian woman and had been a member of Central Baptist Church in Owasso since1968. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, but family was most important to her, especially her grandson who knew her affectionately as “Grandma”.

Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
Children; Brian Hampton, of Owasso
Ashley Waugh and husband Michael, of Owasso
Grandson; Micah Ronald Wolfe, of Owasso
Brother; Jack Hall, of Owasso
Mother; Bert Hall, of Owasso
Sister-in-law; Franci Hall, of Owasso
Aunt; Betty Loveless, of Pryor, Oklahoma
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Pete Hall, and brother, John Richard Hall.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2021, at Central Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Clayton Chisum officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Micah Wolfe, Michael Waugh, Brian Hampton, Jack Hall, Roger Ford, and Joe Hampton. Final resting place will be at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made in JoLynn’s memory to the American Pancreatic Association, 3904 West 126th Street, Leawood, Kansas, 66209, or at www.american-pancreatic-association.org . Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
