New Worship Minister at FCC
Last Sunday, January 5th, was a monumental Sunday at First Christian Church of Owasso. After a year and a half search, Josh Huseby stepped into his new role of Worship Minister.
Josh is passionate about church leadership, and he found what FCC is doing as unique and inspiring, “I liked the way these guys (FCC) are doing church… It’s a church of so many different generations, FCC has a wide approach of reaching multi-generations.” Josh centers his ministry around Romans 12:1-2, “God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Josh comes from Minot, North Dakota, where he served First Baptist Church Minot’s Worship Pastor for six years. Josh attended Powers Lake High School in Powers Lake, North Dakota, where he graduated in 1999. Josh went on to Minot State University and received his bachelors in Vocal Performance. Today Josh is working on his Masters of Arts in Worship Studies at Liberty University. In 2003, Josh married his high school sweetheart Kasey. Today, they have three sons: Samuel – 8, William – 6, Jackson – 2.
FCC has two Sunday morning services at the North Garnett campus at 9:30 and 11:00 am and one service at 10:00 am at FCC’s Stone Canyon campus. For more information about First Christian Church of Owasso visit: fccowasso.com.
