Judy Annett Lewis was born on July 31, 1944, in Fort Worth, Texas to John Henry Vann and Clarice Naomi (French) Vann. She passed from this life on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years. Judy was raised and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated with the Will Rogers High School Class of 1962. She was married on August 10, 1963, in Tulsa to Gerald Gene “Jerry” Lewis. Judy spent most of her working life in the home, raising her two children. She was a longtime faithful member of the Church of Christ in Owasso. Judy was also a proud and active member of the elder’s group with the Chickasaw Nation. In her spare time, she enjoyed a variety of past times such as fishing, sewing, and Native American jewelry making.

She is survived by:

Claire Lewis
Avery Pratt and husband Tanner

Norma Clifton and husband Carroll
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Clarice, and her husband Jerry.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso.
