Judy Glen Gilliland, resident of Tulsa, passed from this life at her residence on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the age of 77. She was born July 28, 1945 to Merrell McCoy and Irene (Evans) Turner in Tulsa. Judy was raised in Collinsville, Ok. She then got married and started her family in Collinsville,Ok then moved to California and resided there for nine years with her family. Then moved back to Tulsa.Ok. Where she worked at a Dry Cleaners for a short time then for Canteen Vending for 15 years then she worked for LaBarge Electrics as a Quality Assembler for 20 years until her retirement. During her early years, Judy enjoyed country swing dancing and teaching country swing dancing. After retirement she enjoyed reading, coloring, keeping up to date on Facebook, family and watching her favorite tv shows. Over the years she had many furbabies that she dearly loved.
In her final days she had come to love a cat named Drake who never left her side.
Those that survive and hold many cherished memories include two daughters: Dena Price and husband Marc and Ronda Weir and husband Tim; 4 grandchildren: Tiffany, Breann, Paige and Zach; as well as seven great grandchildren. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Maude Dena and JoAnn and her brother Donald.
At Judy’s request, cremation will take place, and no formal services will be held.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
