Judy R. Patete, resident of Collinsville, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 6, 2016, in Tulsa at the age of 47 years. Judy was born September 27, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois, to John and Diane (Casper) Wood. She was raised and received her education in Chicago. At the age of 18, Judy and Brian Patete, also a Chicago boy, moved to Oregon; and on October 1, 1988, were united in marriage in Woodburn, Oregon. They made their home there until moving to Collinsville, Oklahoma, in 2000. Judy worked as the Restaurant Manager for Eggbert’s Restaurant until recently. She always was involved with her daughters’ activities including being a “Dance Mom,” a “Color Guard Mom” and a Girl Scout leader.
Those that survive and hold many cherished memories are her husband of 28 years, Brian; her daughters Kristle and Kaylee; Judy’s parents, John and Diane Wood of Chicago, IL; a sister of Carol Stream, IL; and a brother also of Illinois. Judy was preceded in death by four children, Lawrence Edward, Christopher Alan. Ashly Lauren and Sidney Marie.
Funeral services for Judy will be on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Meadowcreek United Methodist Church in Collinsville with Pastor Brian Mangan officiating. Burial will follow at the Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Visitation for Judy will be held on both Monday and Tuesday December 12th and 13th from 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso.
