Karl Andrew Zitzow, resident of Collinsville, passed from this life on Friday evening, September 4, 2015 at the age of 43 years. Karl was born October 6, 1971 in Stoneham, MA to Warren Alan and Sharon Ann (Bilicki) Zitzow. He was raised in Portsmouth, NH until the age of eleven, when they moved to Stillwater, New York where he graduated high school in 1990. Following high school, Karl enlisted in the U.S. Army, honorably serving his country. He then moved to Albany, NY where he worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield until coming to Oklahoma seven years ago and went to work for Cox Communications. Karl loved spending time with his family, traveling and listening to music.
Those that survive include his mother – Sharon Leclercq and husband Richard of Collinsville; Father Warren Zitzow of Alton, NH; Brothers – Warren A. Zitzow, Jr and wife Lana and their children Samantha, Jessica, Kayla and Warren Connor all of Owasso; Charles S. Zitzow and children Dominic, Orion and Zion; Sisters – Jennifer Rambo and husband Chris and sons Roger and Henry, all of Owasso and Bridget Harper and daughter Lauren of Tulsa. Also surviving is a niece Cadence Denise Leclercq, daughter of his brother Robert Leclercq, who preceded him in death; and grandparents Stella M. Zitzow of Reading, MA and John A. Bilicki of Wildwood, FL.
Visitation for Karl will be on Thursday, Sept. 10th from 4-8pm at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. A celebration of his life will be at 11:00 AM Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Collinsville with Father Richard Cristler officiating.
