Kathrine Mae Parker was born January 1, 1926, in Lymon, Oklahoma, to Clyde and Ruth Jewell (Scott) Wright. She died Sunday, March 19, 2017, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Kathrine was reared and educated in Vera, Oklahoma and graduated with the Vera High School Class of 1944. She was married August 20, 1946, at Friends Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Bobby Ray Parker. She spent most of her working life in the home raising her children. Kathrine has been a faithful member of First Church, formerly First Christian Church, in Owasso for 30 years. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes times throughout her life such as playing basketball, watching high school and college basketball, cheering for OU and OSU because of her children attending both. She loved reading, working crosswords, watching “Password” and “Wheel of Fortune”.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, J.L. Wright.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, at First Church in Owasso with Pastor Ben Killion officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Graveside service will follow at Ramona Cemetery in Ramona, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
