COOLOwasso – April 6, 2015: Owasso Strong Neighborhood Initiative (OSNI) is starting a new program, Keep Owasso Clean, to promote a litter-free community.

OSNI will kick-off its Keep Owasso Clean initiative this Saturday, April 11. Volunteers will meet at City Hall, located on 111 N Main Street at 9:00 AM. Neighbors, families and groups are welcome to join OSNI and Owasso Girl Scout Troop 661 in our efforts to keep our community clean. Keep Owasso Clean will be a monthly event on the second Saturday of each month.

Keep Owasso Clean {KOC} was developed through a partnership with OSNI and Owasso Girl Scout Troop 661. The Girl Scouts saw an opportunity to work with OSNI to make a positive impact by educating residents the impact that litter has on our community. KOC is an ongoing volunteer program that allows everyone to become involved by helping pick up litter along with encouraging a behavior of not littering our community.
