Kenneth Dawain Cox was born September 6, 1940, in Unionport, Ohio, to Thomas Franklin Cox and Goldie Whitehead Cox. He died Wednesday, March 21, 2024, in Collinsville, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years. Ken was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Army. He was married May 12, 1962, in East Palestine, Ohio, to Judith Ann Barnhouse. They had made their home in the Owasso area since 1982. Ken spent most of his working life as a heavy equipment operator with the Oklahoma State Department of Transportation. He was a member of First Christian Church in Owasso.

Two sons; Tim Cox and wife Mitzi, of Warren, Ohio
Kevin Cox and wife Robin, of Owasso, Oklahoma
Grandchildren; Patrick Cox and Kati Cox
Dylan and Devon Grafton
Sister; Mildred Crowl, of Salem, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judy, brother, Elmer Cox, and sisters, Mary Rothe and Martha Drake.
Kenneth’s final resting place will be beside his wife Judy at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
