Kevin David Miller was born December 5, 1965, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Glen Alan Miller and Judith Ann Humphreys Miller. He passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on Friday, May 24, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 58 years. Kevin completed his secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1984 where he participated in the Pride of Owasso Band. He continued his studies at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Kevin spent most of his professional career as a musician and instructor. He taught high school and junior high low-brass players in the Dallas and Tulsa areas. He was active performer in various genres and venues including: Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Opera, Signature Symphony, Tulsa Philharmonic, Oktoberfest, Kirk of the Hills Christmas, among many others.
Kevin was very conservative and was always ready to provide clever commentary about politics and culture via social media. His musical interest also motivated him in his pastime of collecting vintage music, including albums and sheet music, as well as an interest in collecting vintage books. Even though Kevin had no children, he dearly loved his nieces and nephews as his own.

Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
Sister; Carol Miller and husband Paul
Niece; Mary Goehler and husband Tyler
Nephews; Walker Miller and Patrick Miller
Two great nieces; Mabel and Eva
Father; Glen Miller
And a host of extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Miller.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Claud Slate officiating. Private family disposition will be held later.
