Kimberly Marie Creel, resident of Claremore, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at the Claremore Indian Hospital. She was 53 years of age. Kimberly was born December 29, 1962, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Quinton Eugene and Mary L. (Tackett) Ventris. She was raised and received her education there. Kimberly later attended college and became a licensed practical nurse with nursing homes and rehab facilities. On April 3, 1993, Kimberly was united in marriage to Jonathan Wayne Creel in Dallas, Texas. They made their home in the Dallas area until she returned to Claremore 14 months ago. While in Claremore, she attended Central Christian Church. Kimberly was an avid “Texas Rangers” fan and enjoyed scrapbooking, being known as the “Scrapbook Queen.”
Those that survive include her husband, Jonathan of Carrollton, Texas; her mother and step father Mary and Ralph Clark of Claremore; children Jeremy Berryhill of Carrollton, Texas, Joshua Crouch and wife Vanessa of Claremore, Oklahoma, Joseph Ventris of Fort Worth, Texas, and Magan Creel of Carrollton. Also surviving are her grandchildren Jason & Bethany Crouch and Ryan Avila; her siblings Misty Hefley of Dallas, Texas, Rance Ventris of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and Amber Ventris of Los Angeles, California. Kimberly was preceded in death by her father and son, Seth Moss.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016, at the Wards Grove Cemetery, Foyil, Oklahoma, with Pastor Larry Conway of Central Christian Church officiating.
