Kristin Michelle Coughran was born December 31, 1974, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Michael Warren Russell and Terry Lynn Myers Russell. She died Monday, September 4, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 48 years. Kristi, as she was known to her family and friends, completed her secondary education in Tulsa and graduated with the East Central High School Class of 1993. She continued her education attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Kristi married the love of her life, Shane Coughran, on February 21, 1998, in Tulsa. They had made their home in Tulsa before moving to Collinsville, Oklahoma, in June of 2011. Kristi was a loving wife and mother, spending much of her life caring for her family and home. She enjoyed her family’s interests supporting them in their sports and activities, especially spending a lot of time at the race track which she thoroughly enjoyed.

And a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Owasso, with Pastor Chris Wall officiating. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Kristi’s memory to Type 1 Diabetes, at www.jdrf.org .
