LaDonna Ruth Alberty, 78, was born on April 4th, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She left this world to go home to her Savior Jesus on September 18th, 2023. She is survived by her devoted husband, true love, and best friend of nearly 60 years, Wayne Alberty; her two children, daughter, Sasha Eng, and husband Michael, and their three children, Gabriella, Olivia and Eva; her son, Gregory Alberty, and wife Jacinda, and their two children, Sadie and Solomon; her two sisters, twin sister Denna Gray, and Rebecca Sabala, and her brother, Richard Moore; along with many nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
Donna graduated from Edison High School and attended Oklahoma State University. She spent many years working in clothing retail, as a florist, an interior designer, and an office manager and administrative assistant with Wayne at their land planning business. She worked with children in an orphanage in South Korea and also taking care of the elderly in nursing homes in Owasso. She volunteered for many years feeding the homeless in Tulsa.
All of her life she was a steadfast wife, mother, daughter, sister and a devoted grandmother. Donna was a defender of children, the elderly, the sick, and those oppressed, abandoned or neglected. She was a faithful friend and a loyal advocate. She was spirited, determined, feisty and strong willed. Donna loved life, her family, parties, fashion and food. Donna was fun and the life of a gathering, and her laughter filled a room. She will be missed deeply and dearly.
