Larry Eugene Helton was born September 12, 1958, in Independence, Kansas, to Lewis Everett Helton and Geraldine Hazel Wilson. He died Saturday, October 16, 2022, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 64 years. Larry completed his secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1976. He was married July 16, 1982, in Owasso to the former Teresa Carpenter. He spent most of his working life as the owner and operator of Tile Masters in Owasso. Larry enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially activities that involved being outdoors. He liked to spend time hunting and fishing as well as spending time on the golf course. He also enjoyed his favorite spot being down by the river. Most important to Larry was spending time with his family and friends. He was particularly fond of his role as “Papa” to his grandchildren.

Twin sister; Terry Edwards, of Muldrow, Oklahoma
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis “Buzzy” Helton and Geraldine “Jerri” Helton.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Larry, with details to follow at a later date.
