Larry Lester Nelsen was born on August 21, 1952, in Gardena, California to Rozell James Nelsen and Lois Velma (Secrest) Nelsen. He passed from this life on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at his home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years. Larry was raised and educated in Hot Springs, South Dakota and graduated with the Hot Springs High School Class of 1968. He then went on to earn his associates degree in business from the National College of Business in Rapid City, South Dakota. Larry spent most of his working life as the Store Manager of Med-X Drug at Utica Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma for over 15 years. He enjoyed a variety of past times such as gardening, traveling, and collecting pocket watches and unique toy

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rozell and Lois, and his sister, Bonnie.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church in Owasso.
