02/13/2018 – Lieutenant Colonel Michael B. Harris, son of Carroll and Rosie Harris of Owasso, has been selected for promotion to the rank of Colonel.
Colonel Harris is currently assigned to the United States Air Force Headquarters staff at the Pentagon. He has previously held a variety of operational and staff assignments including Little Rock AFB, Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center, Goodfellow AFB, and Ft. Gordon Georgia. Overseas tours have included South Korea, Germany and Iraq.
Harris entered the U.S. Air Force in August 1997, completing Officer Training School at Maxwell AFB in December 1997 as a second Lieutenant.
