Linda Large Menkhoff AnstineLinda Marie Large Menkhoff Anstine was born September 4, 1949, in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Alvin Dale Large and Viola Marie Pfeiffer Large. She died Sunday, June 18, 2023, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 73 years. Linda completed her secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1967. She continued her education attending Tulsa Business School. Linda spent most of her professional career as a financial analyst with CitiCorp in Tulsa. She had been a longtime active member with the Owasso Eastern Star. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes including taking time to travel as well as fishing, especially crappie. Her favorite place to be was on the beach, and more beach, in Pensacola, Florida. She enjoyed collecting sea glass which is physically and chemically weathered glass found on beaches along bodies of salt water.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Viola Large, and her first husband, Larry Menkhoff.
 
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Paul Large officiating. Final resting place will be at Ball Cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Linda’s memory to Good Shepherd Hospice, 4343 South 118th East Avenue, Suite 160, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74146, or at www.goodshepherdhospice.com .
