Lois S. Adams was born November 7, 1926, in Stidham, Oklahoma, to Bertie L. and Emily Missouri (Hyde) Shirley. She died Monday, March 5, 2018, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Lois was reared and educated in Stidham, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Stidham High School Class of 1942. Lois was married on November 24, 1955, in Los Angeles, California, to Arthur Francis Adams. She spent most of her working life as a secretary for American Airlines. Lois was a faithful member of St. Henry Catholic Church and was involved with the Owasso Historical Society and VFW. She enjoyed fishing and camping, was a major traveler, and enjoyed visiting the casino with the occasional slot machine. Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018, at the St. Henry Catholic Church in Owasso with Father Matt LaChance officiating.
