07/10/2018 – Sunday evening, at approximately 10:30 p.m., Owasso Police were dispatched to St. John Hospital on reports of a man assaulting hospital staff.
Owasso Officers arrived to find a man, identified as Gregory Thomas Forest, 63, of Claremore, physically fighting a security officer as well as a nurse. Police quickly restrained the suspect.
Hospital personnel reported that Forest first became upset when being treated by a doctor and struck the doctor with a wheelchair. Hospital Security was then called, and he allegedly began physically fighting the security guard.
Once arrested,the report states Forest became combative with officers, striking officers and kicking the back of the the police car, causing damage to the vehicle. When the officer arrived at the police station to book Forest, reports state he was still combative when removing him from the vehicle.
Forest was transported to the Tulsa County Jail. He is being held on the following charges:
