Mark-Jones-1535119944Mark Michael Jones was born April 26, 1952 in Wichita, Kansas, to Arthur Jones and Elaine (Singsank) Jones. He passed from this life on Wednesday, August 22, 2018, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years. Mark was raised and educated in Wichita, Kansas and graduated with the Wichita South High School Class of 1970. He married Linda Jewell (Alexander) Jones in Wichita on January 3, 1981. Mark Spent most of his working life as a construction supply salesman for Sunflower Supply and later as a mail truck driver for Wichita Public Schools. After retiring and moving to the Owasso area, Mark enjoyed driving his route as a school bus driver for Collinsville Public Schools. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as hunting, fishing, watching his beloved Kansas City Royals, Oklahoma Sooners, and Kansas City Chiefs. Mark loved his dogs and was an excellent dog trainer. He also loved sailing and doing anything that involved being out on the water.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Elaine.
 
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Rodney Ray officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mark’s memory to Ward-Wiseman Animal Haven, 15628 N. 129th E. Ave, Collinsville, OK 74021, or Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67219. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
