Mary Lou Dane was born July 10, 1934, in Weatherford, Texas, to John Henry and Carrie Leona Clemons Measures. She died Monday, November 25, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years. Mary was married July 9, 1949, in Weatherford to Wayne Dane. She spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. She and Wayne moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1979 before moving to Owasso in 2003. She was a faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially traveling and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wayne Dane.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 with funeral service beginning at 2:00 Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Linzy Slayden officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Friendship Baptist Church Missions Fund, 14100 East 86th Street North, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
