03/15/2018 –Meals on Wheels of Owasso provides flexible volunteer opportunities from Monday-Friday.
Delivering a route typically takes about an hour in the morning working just a few days a month and helps ensure that a neighbor in need isn’t left hungry and alone.
For many seniors, the trusted Meals on Wheels volunteer who shows up with a hot meal and a warm smile could be the only person they see or speak with all day. This special delivery is a reason to get up in the morning, something to look forward to, and a reminder to take good care of themselves.
Owasso is in need of a few trusted volunteers like you to meet up to pack and deliver these meals on a weekly basis.
