Michael David Sweeten was born March 18, 1977, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He died Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 47 years. Michael completed his secondary education in Owasso, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1995. He was married May 22, 1999, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Amanda Pollock. Michael spent most of his working life as a certified diesel mechanic with the Ford Corporation. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including breaking down and rebuilding go-carts, four wheelers, dirt bikes, and almost anything mechanical. He also enjoyed building and running remote control cars and flying remote control airplanes.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willam and Virginia Sweeten and biological mother, Cindy Marie Mangold.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at First Church of Owasso with Pastor Jake Follis officiating. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso
