Michael Lloyd Dunlap, resident of Owasso, passed from this life on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at his home. He was 50 years of age. Michael was born December 26, 1964 in Harrison, Arkansas to Lloyd and Ella (Yancey) Dunlap. He was raised and received his education there, graduating Harrison HS. Michael then furthered his education at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR where he received his bachelor’s degree in Finance. While in college, he was an active member of the ROTC and the Army National Guard. On May 17, 1986, he and Jonna Croswhite were united in marriage in Harrison. To this union, a son was born. They made their home in North Little Rock, coming to Owasso in 2001. At the time of his death, he worked for AAPG as a financial analyst. Family was his priority, but Michael found time for his passion of photography, and was learning to play the guitar.
Those that survive include his mother Ella Dunlap of Harrison, AR; his wife Jonna of the home; a son Adam, a senior at Owasso HS; a sister Debbie Kelley and husband Jim of Broken Arrow; a half sister Barbara Atkinson of Harrison, AR; nieces – Jennifer (Kelley) Mitchell and husband Gregg of Dallas, TX, Morgan (Kelley) Bohannan and husband Brandon of Dallas, Amanda Atkinson of Harrison, AR, Julie Melton of Harrison, AR; a nephew John Atkinson of Harrison and two great nieces Emma and Parker Bohannan. Michael was preceded in death by his father.
