Retired USAF MSGT Michael Patrick Brown passed away peacefully at his home with his daughters on September 21, 2021, in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Michael was born March 17, 1951, in Portland, Maine, to Gene Leander and Claudia Madeline Brown. He was a 1969 graduate of Portland High School in Portland, Maine. He enlisted in the USAF in June 1969 and became a USAF Meteorologist until his retirement in December 1992. After retiring from the USAF, he returned to his hometown of Portland, Maine and worked as a dispatcher with AAA. Michael enjoyed a variety of pastimes including golfing, cooking, and watching sports. He was a devoted Boston Celtics and Boston Red Sox fan. He was known as “Grampy” to his grandchildren.

Two nieces, three nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Claudia and Gene Brown, wife Vicki Brown, his son, Michael P Brown, Jr., sister, Penelope Reed and a niece.
Private family disposition will be held at a later date. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Michael’s memory to the Maine Chapter of the American Heart Association https://www.heart.org/en/affiliates/maine/welcome-to-maine. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
