07/09/2018 – From their beginnings in a small facility on Main Street, Mission Owasso is preparing to move in to a new 10,000 square foot, state of the art facility.
First Baptist Owasso is excited that “the Mission” building is getting near to completion. Even more exciting is the 2 million dollar project was built completely debt free. Then new Mission sits on 10 acres just south of German Corner.
The building will consist of:
- Check in foyer
- 3 offices
- Pantry space
- Warehouse
- Walk in fridge
- Walk in freezer
- Commercial grade kitchen
- Multi purpose space
- Restrooms with shower facilities
- Meeting room
Mission staff plans to move from the old facility to the new one August 1.
The mission partners people “with things” with people who “need things.”
The mission provides the following, for people in need:
- Personal Care Products
- Shoes
- Food
- Furniture
- Infant / baby care items
- Rent & utility assistance
Hours of operation:
Monday and Wednesday 11am – 3pm
Friday 1:30pm-5:30pm
