Carol Ann McClure was born on November 20, 1939, in Denver, Colorado to Warren John Tharp and Vernice Mae (Baldwin) Tharp. She passed from this life on Thursday, January 4, 2024, in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years. Carol was raised and educated in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and graduated with the Sapulpa High School Class of 1958. She spent most of her working life in the home raising her two children. She was married
on October 1, 1993, in Tulsa to Charles Lee McClure. Carol was a longtime faithful member of First Baptist Church in Owasso where she taught Sunday school, delivered food through the church, was involved in a women’s group, and was also involved in getting The Mission started. In her spare time, Carol enjoyed a variety of past times such as knitting, sewing, quilting, painting, and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Vernice, brother, Don, and her great grandson, Tanner.
