Owasso Police Chief Scott Chambliss give the Oath of Office to new officer Travis Harris
03/09/2017, Owasso, OK – The Owasso Police Department held a swearing in ceremony for Officer Travis Harris Wednesday afternoon at Owasso City Hall.
Officer Harris grew up in Owasso and is a 1993 graduate of Owasso High School.
Harris comes to the department with a long background in law enforcement. He was an Officer in Mannford, OK for approximately 2 years, then became an Osage County Deputy in 2007 and remained there until 2016.
Travis recently moved back to Owasso with his wife and son. He is a veteran officer that holds many certifications and has vast experience from his time at the Sheriff’s Office. He was on many specialty units, even supervising some of them, including their SWAT Team.
A large number of Harris’s family and friends were on-hand for the ceremony. Welcome Officer Harris
