Update:A Nebraska man said his twin brother was killed in Oklahoma Sunday evening when a single-engine plane crashed into a vacant home.Rod Marshall said he had been in the Tulsa area attending a gun show with his brother, Dr. Ronald L. Marshall, a retired physician from Manhattan, Kan.
Ronald Marshall — known as Dr. Ron — and a passenger boarded Marshall’s four-seat plane for a flight back to Manhattan. Rod Marshall declined to identify the passenger flying with his brother.
It crashed into the backyard of and empty home on Broadway between 13th and 14th Street. Debris from the crash was scattered from the backyard to the front of the house and into the street.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol has now confirmed at least one person has died as a result of the crash.
