Opal Faye Turrentine was born May 29, 1939, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Henry Vincient and Beatrice Freeman Sears. She died Monday, December 23, 2019, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. Faye was reared and educated in Oologah, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Oologah High School. She was married December 17, 1955, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Frank Turrentine. She spent most of her working life as a retail salesclerk including over 23 years with Wal Mart. Faye enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as reading and spending time in her garden. She also enjoyed time fishing and traveling. She was very fond of her role of Nana to her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, and two sisters, Judy Dirickson, and Gloria Jean Peters.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Leonard Pirtle officiating.
