07/31/2019 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports an injury collision occurred July 30th at 8:44 P.M. on 33rd West Avenue near 97th Street South, ½ mile west of Jenks, in Tulsa County.
A 2003 Honda Accord, driven by a 17-year-old female juvenile of Owasso, was traveling southbound on 33rd West Avenue and crossed the center line for an unknown reason. The driver then overcorrected, lost control, went into a broad slide and departed road to the left striking a stop sign. It then rolled approximately two times coming to rest on a fence. The driver refused treatment at the scene.
A 16-year-old female passenger from Collinsville was transported by Creek County EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, where she was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk internal injuries.
Other passengers, Gavin Vann, 18, of Tulsa and James Raley, age 18 of Owasso also refused treatment at the scene.
