12/01/2019 – Around 4:30 AM Sunday morning, Owasso officers were dispatched to an intrusion alarm at Best Buy, located at 9055 North 121st East Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found that the front security doors had been pried open to allow access to the interior of the building. It appears that the suspect(s) briefly made entry inside the store, but were unable to take anything of value prior to fleeing the scene as the officers responded.
There was significant damage to the front of the store, which was estimated at several thousand dollars. Detectives processed the scene, but no suspects have been identified yet.
Other area Best Buy locations were on high alert, calling for police patrols after the incident was discovered.
