By Coach Sam Bowers, Owasso Lady Rams Soccer
02/26/2018 – After having a large graduating class, Owasso will be looking for some senior leadership and other players to step up their roles and continue the success the Lady Rams are accustomed to achieving.
The Lady Rams are 23-4 with a state championship and semifinal appearance in the last two years. They will lean on the leadership of seniors Kaylee Collins, Savannah Nelson, Morgan Krispense, Saha Pedersen, Emma Turner, Shelby Gibbs, Janika Etter, and peyton Nealis to help the younger players understand what is expected of being a Lady Ram.
The seniors have been around for four years and their wisdom is what will be needed in order to qualify for the state playoffs again. There will be alot of new faces on the Lady Rams team but the front of the Jersey will have the same expectations as years past. I really like the work ethic and quality of kids we have this year, they have bought into what we are trying to accomplish .
I promise you they will give you everything they got and you will be really proud of them representing our school, their families and our community. We will open the season on Friday March 2nd vs Tulsa Edison at home.
