Press release:

Owasso, OK – Aaron Forst, a lifelong Oklahoman, Republican small business owner, and active community leader, has announced his candidacy for Oklahoma State Senate, District 34. Aaron Forst is a Christian Conservative running to bring fresh, principled leadership to the State Capitol.

“I am honored to launch my campaign for Senate District 34,” said Forst. “Our community deserves a Senator who will get things done for our conservative values, including lowering taxes, reducing government overreach, and empowering parents in their children’s education. I’m ready to roll up my sleeves and work hard to earn the support of District 34 families.”

In December of 2024, a SD34 poll was conducted by MBO Research, which highlighted the need for new leadership. The survey revealed that 81.75% of SD34 voters indicated they prefer a fresh voice in the State Senate. Forst’s candidacy reflects the district’s demand for a conservative change and a focus on issues that matter most to families, businesses, and the community.

“I am running because I believe my background and experience are a better fit for tackling complex issues, getting things done, and leading people,” Aaron said. “Over the last three years, families of SD34 have not had the results we signed up for from our Senator. We need less talk and more action.”

Raised in Verdigris and a proud resident of Owasso, Forst brings a unique combination of professional and personal experience to his campaign. He has successfully built two thriving small businesses in the Owasso area, creating over 30 jobs and gaining real-world experience with the challenges faced by small businesses and working families. Forst’s professional background also includes work in EMS and Biomedical Engineering, where he contributed to the design and implementation of medical equipment at local hospitals.

“My wife and family are my greatest inspiration. We are deeply committed to serving our community and building a better, stronger future for Oklahoma,” Forst added. “Our campaign is focused on real solutions—for small businesses, families, and the community.”

Aaron and his family currently volunteer with his church, where he has coached children in ministry programs. Aaron and his wife, Adrienne, have served as foster parents and are active members of the Owasso Chamber of Commerce, where they help advocate for small businesses.
