On 05/12/2015, at approximately 3:00 AM, Owasso Officers were dispatched to the 300 Block of N Elm Street in reference to a burglary in progress. A 17 year old female reported that she was awakened by a man wearing black clothing attempting to enter her bedroom window. Upon seeing the man crawling through her window, the victim began screaming and the suspect fled the area on foot. The victim’s 13 year old sister and her grandmother were also home at the time.
Upon arrival, officers observed fresh footprints in the dew outside the victim’s window, which led to a nearby residence. Officers observed a man matching the description of the suspect on the back porch of said residence wearing black clothing but he fled inside the house upon seeing the officers. Officers made contact with the subject inside the residence, where he had changed clothes and claimed to have been asleep the entire time. The victim positively identified the man as the same person who had broken into her house and she recognized him as her adult neighbor, Caleb Hall (age 23). The victim further reported that Hall had made previous unwanted sexual advances towards her, which allegedly became more aggressive when she rejected him. Upon being informed that he was under arrest, Hall physically resisted officers and he was taken into custody after a short struggle.
Caleb Hall (age 23) was arrested for First Degree Burglary and transported to the Tulsa County Jail.
