05/25/2017 – Just after 7:00am Thursday morning, Owasso Police and Fire were dispatched to Medical call with a combative individual.
Owasso Fire, Medics and Police were traveling to the call eastbound on 76th Street North. Fire and Medics cleared the intersection on the east side of Highway 169 but the officer was broadsided by another vehicle.
The officer was transported to a Tulsa Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The other driver refused treatment at the scene.
The crash is under investigation at this time. That section of roadway was closed for approximately one hour.
