07/02/2017 – At around 3pm Sunday, Owasso Police received a call from Acadamy Sports, 8959 N Garnett Rd, that 4 people left the store with arms full or clothing. A description of the car as well as the tag number were dispatched to officers.
An Owasso Officer spotted they car going southbound on Highway 169 and the pursuit began. Top speeds reported were around 70 miles an hour, with light traffic. Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Tulsa Police joined the chase which traveled west through north Tulsa ending in a neighborhood at 4100 East Woodrow Place. The tag did not check back to the vehicle that it was on.
Three men and one women were in the vehicle, and were arrested for the crime, and transported back to Owasso.
