11/17/2018 – After a horrific traffic accident on Highway 20 Friday afternoon, the Owasso Police Department reached out to readers on their Instagram page, with a plea to drive safely.

A HORRIFIC crash on SH20 Friday afternoon at 145th East Avenue. Luckily everyone survived and our thoughts are with those injured and hospitalized tonight. We post these pics to remind everyone that seatbelts SAVE LIVES! Also, the speed limit on SH20 approaching 145 E Ave in both directions is 45MPH! Owasso Police and OHP often work this stretch of road and find far too many vehicles greatly exceeding the posted limits. Remember SPEED KILLS!
