On Sunday March 15th, 2015 at approximately 0400 hours, Officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at Quick Trip located at 9600 N Garnett Road in Owasso. According to witnesses, a single suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cash from the clerk. After receiving the money from the register, the suspect fled the store. As the suspect exited the store, a customer at the gas pumps walked towards the entrance, apparently unaware of the robbery. The suspect fired a single shot in the parking lot in the direction of the customer before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported.
Officers and a K-9 team searched the surrounding neighborhoods but were unable to locate the suspect. OPD Detectives processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
The suspect was described as a black male in his 20’s, approximately 5’8″-5’10” tall, thin build, wearing a grey mask, a grey hoodie with a green lining, jeans and white shoes.
